Saki states, ââ¬Å"[A] man stood one winter night watching and listening, as though he waited for some beast of the woods to come within the range of his vision, and, later, of his rifleâ⬠(Saki 6). Ulrich is stalking the woods for as Saki stated ââ¬Ëbeast of the woodsââ¬â¢ but rather he ââ¬Ëââ¬Ëpatrolled the dark forest in quest of a human enemy.â⬠Saki goes on talking about the feud that started with their grandfathers over a landâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦In other words, Saki says that we, as humans, have an animalistic nature.
